We are thrilled to announce the addition of our new Transitional Care Unit at Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation and Nursing Center!
This magnificent unit offers premier short-term, specialized medical services and rehabilitation to medically complex patients who need extra support after leaving the hospital, but are not yet ready to return home. Along with the standard medical services that we offer onsite, this unit also includes immediate access to real-time cardiac telemetry monitoring, radiology and lab facilities, 24/7 physician services, as well as specialized tertiary care.
We are so well equipped, in fact, that many patients opt to bypass a trip to the hospital entirely and come straight to Morristown to receive top caliber, specialized care, as well as onsite monitoring by leading physicians from Atlantic Health.
It is no wonder. Our brand-new Transitional Care Unit is the ideal setting to receive treatment and recover and reduces the need for hospitalization. An oasis of luxury and style, the unit includes 13 private rooms designed to ensure your comfort and privacy, and its small size assures you of the highest level of personal attention. As our guest, you can enjoy our many amenities, health services, fine dining, and much more. Our suites are large enough for you to receive therapy in the privacy of your own room if you so desire.
We offer a wide variety of rehabilitation services, including daily physical, speech, and occupational therapies, IV therapy, wound care, respiratory therapy and ventilator care, cardiac care, nutritional counseling, and more. Our nursing staff are extensively trained in telemetry and EKG usage, and are well-prepared to react quickly in an emergency and to treat our patients in place.
